New opportunities for international cooperation in power engineering and military-industrial complex were discussed during the meeting of Kharkiv Regional State Administration (KRSA) leadership with the delegation of People’s Republic of China on March 17, reported the KRSA’s press service (RU).
“During our visit to China, we have determined several spheres for cooperation – power engineering and the military-industrial complex. In order to denote further ways of cooperation and find potential partners, the Chinese delegation visited the Kharkiv region. This visit shows that we have set the right vector of cooperation,” said the deputy chairman of KRSA Julia Svetlichnaya.
Chinese delegation visited a number of Kharkiv enterprises – “Turboatom”, “Electrotyazhmash”, Kharkiv Shevchenko instrument-making plant, as well as research institutions, in particular – Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology.
“The regional administration prepared this visit, helped to organize the meetings, and in the framework of its power we will do everything to maintain these relationships. But the result depends on the enterprises – what extant they will manage to interest and convince the Chinese partners in the need for cooperation,” emphasized deputy chairman.
“We got acquainted with the potential of your enterprises, and impressed with the abilities and ideas of Kharkiv engineers. We are ready for close dialogue on these issues, and we hope that our cooperation will end with the signing of contracts,” said the Head of Procurement Office of International Cooperation Management of General armament and military equipment department Fan Tao.
He also expressed confidence in fruitful cooperation with Kharkiv in a new direction – the nuclear power industry.
